This courseware is designed for the new AutoCAD® user who requires comprehensive training in AutoCAD. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with AutoCAD LT. Hands-on exercises throughout the courseware explore how to create 2D production drawings.

Course Objectives

    • Use the powerful tools and techniques for drawing, dimensioning, and printing 2D drawings.
    • Reuse content that has been previously created, and extract information from their drawings.
    • Understand the high-level concepts of designing in 3D.
    • With an understanding of these tools, students can begin to streamline the design process and become more productive with AutoCAD.

Prerequisites

    • Delegates should be confident creating and editing basic AutoCAD objects
    • Delegates should have consolidated their basic AutoCAD skills with approximately 3-6 months regular use
    • Delegates should have attended AutoCAD Essentials or have equivalent knowledge
